Planning and preparation for another planting at Winton Wetlands is underway.

Despite the recent closure of the Winton Wetlands Project the Regent Honeyeater Project has been able to arrange with DEECA to carry out the planting of another substantial site at Winton Wetlands.

The proposed site is between North Road and the dam wall and extends beyond the intersection of North Road and Flynn's Road. Direct seeding of the site has been completed and tree guards and stakes distributed.

Details about registering to attend the planting schedule will be announced soon.
